GREAT FOR PUMPKIN PIE! The Blue Hubbard New England variety was introduced in America, specifically New England in 1890. It is very popular and sought after by winter squash enthusiasts because of its finely textured, dense flesh with a sweet, delicious nutty flavor. It is known to store for up to 6 months!

PREPARATION: Roast, Bake, Boil or Steam
When cooked, it is a very versatile squash. Great used as a substitute for butternut squash. Use it in pies, casseroles, pasta. Purée for soups, stews, sauces, curries, and desserts.
